Red Light Arts & Culture - Venus Falling

 “Venus Falling” is a classical contemporary piece featuring chamber ensemble, mezzo-soprano, and two speakers (one in Dutch and one and English). Music by Allison Wright (she/her) and text by Dior Sutherland (they/them). 

This piece was commissioned by Red Light Arts & Culture for the musical portion of our event “Wandelconcert: A Performance Journey through the Red Light District | sex, gender, and self-expression”, July 1, 2, and 3 2022 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
